In this enchanted space, we will gather for guided meditation, contemplative walks, inquiry, group & partner work, poetry, music and dance. We will nourish ourselves with beautiful nature, delicious food and wonderful company.
This retreat is designed for you to drop into the heart of The Work of Byron Katie, to experience it as a deep meditation; meeting any parts of ourselves that have been previously un-welcomed. This is a space to come and be as you are, an ideal retreat for both beginners & advanced practitioners of The Work. |

Pousada Villa Valley is a boutique hotel located 350 meters from the beach and 150 meters from the center of Rosa, a lovely town full of restaurants and a nearby supermarket. Travel/How to Get Here

*VISA UPDATE: For those traveling from North America and Australia, the Brazilian government has pushed back the visa requirement date from January to April 2024. This means people traveling from these places will not need a visa to enter the country :) Please check to see what the requirements are to enter from your country, and make sure to have the proper documents before you travel. When applying for your visa, you can use the hotel address and phone number as your reference.
- Fly into the town of Florianopolis, Hercílio Luz International Airport (FLN) (about an hour flight from Sao Paulo)
- From Florianopolis, it's a 75-90 minute Uber to your accommodations (address listed above)
- Hotel check in is at noon on March 9th
- Dinner is on your own. You can choose from the many restaurants in town, or prepare your own meals using the fully equipped kitchen in your lodgings
- Once signed up, we will invite you to a telegram or whatsapp group, so folks can coordinate ride shares should they choose and contact us in case of emergencies

Led by a traditional ayahuasca Hunikuin family with 6 members, originating directly from the village. Begins at 10pm March 16th Ends around 7am March 17th Check out March 18th If you would like to attend the ayahuasca ceremony, we ask that you make arrangements for lodging the night of the 17th directly with the hotel, Pousada Villa Valle. The hotel is offering all participants of the retreat a discounted rate. In fact, if you'd like to extend your trip by arriving early or staying after the retreat, the hotel will honor a reduced rate for all retreat guests for as long as you'd like to stay before and after the retreat (within reason). We anticipate having each of the options filled, and will arrange housing assignments for all of our guests, so you will be sharing a room with someone.
